Do we need to buy new handsets?
No handsets are required or sold as part of this service. CallPath works with softphones on a computer or mobile device, or calls can be diverted to existing mobile and landline numbers. If you have existing SIP-compatible handsets, we can assess whether they are compatible.
Can we keep our existing phone numbers?
Yes. Existing business numbers can be ported across to Cloud365 CallPath in most cases. We manage the porting process and plan the cutover to minimise disruption to your service.
How long does it take to get set up?
This depends on the complexity of your requirements. A straightforward system for a small team can typically be designed, configured and live within a few weeks. Larger or more complex environments take longer — we'll give you a realistic timeline during the discovery phase.
What happens if there's a problem with our phone system?
Our team responds directly. Your CallPath system is monitored 24x7x365. If something goes wrong, we're on it — you're not calling a call centre or submitting a ticket to an offshore team.
We're replacing an ageing on-premise PBX. Is this for us?
Yes — this is a common scenario for us. Many Cloud365 CallPath customers have moved from ageing on-premise hardware that was end-of-life or becoming difficult to support. We plan the migration carefully to avoid interruption to your business.
Is the system backed up?
Yes. Your CallPath configuration is backed up as part of the managed service and replicated across our Sydney and Melbourne cloud infrastructure. In the event of a failure, failover is handled automatically.
Can remote and multi-site teams use it?
Yes. Because CallPath is fully hosted in the cloud, staff in any location — remote workers, home offices or interstate branches — can register softphones and receive or make calls on the same system as your main office.
What does "fully managed" actually mean?
It means Cloud365 is responsible for the entire phone system — design, configuration, ongoing changes, monitoring and support. When you need an extension added, a routing rule changed or a menu updated, you contact us and we handle it. You don't need technical staff to manage the PBX.
