What "managed" actually means

You use your software. We handle everything else.

Most hosting providers give you a server and leave you to figure out the rest. "Managed" hosting at Cloud365 means our team actively administers, monitors and maintains your environment — so you don't need an internal IT department to keep things running.

Our infrastructure

Purpose-built. Australian owned. Not rented from someone else.

Unlike some "cloud" providers who resell capacity from AWS or Azure, Cloud365 owns and operates its own infrastructure. That means you're dealing directly with the people who manage your hardware — not a third party separated from your data by layers of support tickets.

We quote a fixed monthly fee in Australian dollars that covers everything — hosting, backups, monitoring, security and support. You always know what you're paying.

Our pricing model
One fixed price. Everything included.
We assess your application and quote a single monthly fee that covers all the services you need — hosting, management, backups, monitoring, security, and support. No add-ons, no surprise invoices.
Fixed monthly fee billed in Australian dollars
Backups, monitoring & security included — not extras
Tailored to your application — no paying for what you don't need
No ecosystem lock-in, no hidden migration-out costs

🎯
Tailored to your application
We assess your requirements and design the right environment — not a generic package that over or under-delivers for your specific setup.
💱
Always billed in AUD
No currency fluctuations, no overseas exchange rate surprises. Your invoice is straightforward and always in Australian dollars.

Scales as you grow
If your application grows, we scale resources with you. Simple conversations, no complex self-service dashboards to navigate.

Common questions

Questions business owners usually ask us.

Here are the most common things prospects want to know before getting in touch. If your question isn't here, just call or email — we're happy to explain anything.

Will my software still work after migration?
Yes. We assess your application thoroughly before migration and only proceed when we're confident the environment is correctly configured. Our team will test everything before you switch over, and we stay on hand until you're satisfied it's working as expected.
How long does migration take?
It depends on the complexity of your application, but most migrations are completed within a few days to a couple of weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline after our initial assessment — we don't rush migrations and won't give you false expectations upfront.
What if something breaks at 2am?
Our monitoring runs 24/7, so we're often aware of issues before you are. If something requires attention outside business hours, our team responds. You're not waiting until morning for someone to read an email — critical issues get addressed around the clock.
Is my data stored in Australia?
Yes. By default, your data is hosted in our Australian data centres in Sydney, Melbourne or Darwin. For businesses with data sovereignty requirements — particularly in legal, government and financial sectors — this is a standard part of our service, not an optional extra.
Do I need to be technical to work with you?
Not at all. Most of our customers are business owners, not IT professionals. We handle all the technical complexity — you just need to tell us what your software does and what you're trying to achieve. We explain everything in plain English.
What does it cost compared to our current setup?
Pricing depends on your application. However, our customers consistently save compared to their previous arrangements — especially when you factor in the cost of managing an in-house server, buying replacement hardware, and the risk of data loss. Request a quote and we'll show you the comparison.
The migration process

We handle the move — with minimal disruption to your business.

One of the biggest concerns business owners have about moving to the cloud is disruption. Our migration process is designed to be systematic, tested, and calm — so your team barely notices the transition.

01
Assessment & scoping
We review your application, current environment and business requirements. We'll ask questions, document what we find, and produce a clear migration plan.
02
Environment build & configuration
We build and configure your new hosting environment before migration begins — including backups, monitoring, security and all supporting services.
03
Migration & parallel testing
We migrate your application and run it in parallel with your existing setup — testing thoroughly before we recommend switching over.
04
Cutover & handover
Once testing is complete, we coordinate the cutover at a time that suits your business — typically outside business hours. We assist your staff and any third parties with updated access details.
05
Ongoing management
From day one your environment is actively monitored and managed by our team. You receive documentation covering your setup, and our HelpDesk is available whenever you need us.
