Equinix ME1 International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre is part of the Equinix Melbourne Campus, located in Port Melbourne VIC. This large-scale site has incorporated the latest in data centre designs to ensure growth and security for all infrastructure and services.
Each Cloud365 DataCentre facility is hand-picked and inspected prior to platform design and deployment.
This allows our team to factor any specific advantages at each location, improving the performance and operational management of our platforms.
All staff are inducted and provided secure datacentre access on successful completion of Police check and/or security clearance.
Only authorised and trained staff access production computing infrastructure.

Our Melbourne DC6 facility was our first with Equinix and located at their flagship ME1 facility, a world-class datacentre, purpose-built from the ground up.
In 2014, Cloud365 was the second customer to begin with Equinix at this location which provided our team with the opportunity to watch and interact with the Equinix team and construction company during the facility build and opening activities. Seeing and experiencing ME1 built from zero to fully functional datacentre demonstrated the level of detail and planning undertaken to deliver this facility which is now a campus with multiple datacentres.
Port Melbourne is ideally located for our team, just a short drive from Melbourne city, easily accessible for daily support and maintenance activities.
