Connectivity is across four transit providers plus multiple carriers via our own private peering connectivity directly with leading tier carriers and industry service providers."
Cloud365 Melbourne Datacentre 6 is located at Equinix ME1, part of the Equinix Melbourne Campus in Port Melbourne, VIC. Cloud365 was a foundation client at ME1 — the second customer to deploy infrastructure when the facility opened — which gave our team a unique opportunity to observe the facility's build and commissioning firsthand.
ME1 is constructed to the ASIO T4 Security Standard — one of the highest physical security standards applied to commercial data centre facilities in Australia. Port Melbourne is just minutes from Cloud365's Southbank headquarters, enabling rapid access for infrastructure deployments and maintenance activities.
The Equinix Melbourne Campus has since grown to multiple facilities, cementing its status as Victoria's leading data centre precinct. Cloud365's ME1 presence positions our customers at the centre of Melbourne's fibre and connectivity ecosystem.
"Our Melbourne DC6 facility was our first with Equinix and is located at their flagship ME1 facility — a world-class data centre, purpose-built from the ground up. In 2014, Cloud365 was the second customer to begin with Equinix at this location, which gave our team the opportunity to watch and interact with the Equinix team and construction company during the facility build and opening. Port Melbourne is ideally located for our team, just a short drive from Melbourne city, easily accessible for daily support and maintenance activities."
Cloud365 Darwin Datacentre 1 is located at Secure Data Centre (SDC) in Darwin, Northern Territory — Cloud365's longest-running facility, having first deployed infrastructure here in 2007. SDC is a purpose-built, locally-owned data centre committed to excellence in Northern Territory infrastructure.
Darwin DC1 is a hardened, purpose-built bunker facility — 350m² with multiple data halls, 200mm solid reinforced walls and ceilings, and 40mm metal clad cool-room panelling throughout. The facility serves local, national and international clients with flexible, scalable infrastructure housing options, and is the only professional data centre facility in the Northern Territory.
"In 2007 we deployed our first infrastructure project in the Northern Territory. On visiting SDC we were impressed with the level of detail and commitment to excellence from the local building and facilities owners. There was no other location in Darwin like Secure Data Centre, and certainly no other local support like that provided from SDC management and staff. Building facilities, plant, data halls, electrical works are without doubt the best in the Territory and at similar levels to our Sydney and Melbourne facilities."
Cloud365 launched Asia-based services from Singapore in 2012. Singapore DC1 is located at BDx SIN1 in Paya Lebar — a leading Tier III certified facility serving OTT, finance, telecommunications and government customers across the region. Singapore serves as Cloud365's gateway to Asia.
Paya Lebar is conveniently located close to Singapore city and Changi Airport, enabling rapid access for Cloud365's team. Cloud365 delivers broadcast audio and video, streaming, web applications and telephony services from Singapore DC1 with confidence and high availability into the Asia Pacific region.
The facility features thermal storage tanks for uninterruptable cooling — a significant engineering investment that protects against cooling interruptions regardless of external conditions — and N+2 diesel backup generators with 24 hours onsite fuel.
"Singapore DC1 is perfectly equipped to deliver robust, enterprise grade infrastructure and services for our Asia Pacific region customers. BDx is an excellent facilities manager, inheriting this facility and continuing to deliver world-class support for our team. Cloud365 provides broadcast audio and video, streaming, web applications and telephony services with confidence and high availability into the region from this location."
Cloud365 Tokyo Datacentre 1 is located at Equinix TY2, part of the Equinix Tokyo Campus in Shinagawa. Tokyo DC1 sits at the centre of Japan's telecommunications infrastructure hub — providing Cloud365 with unrivalled access to network connectivity across leading regional and international carriers.
The Equinix TY2 facility is a 7-story, steel-framed and reinforced concrete building — one of the most physically robust data centre structures in Cloud365's portfolio. A dark fibre network enables direct connectivity with customers, and all major Japanese telecommunications and infrastructure providers are present on the campus.
"Tokyo DC1 is right in the middle of Japan's telecommunications infrastructure hub, providing Cloud365 with unrivalled access to network connectivity across leading regional and international carriers. The Equinix campus is on the doorstep to Japan's CBD with a dark fibre network for direct connectivity with customers — an excellent concept for direct high speed communications. This facility is rock solid, literally, constructed in a 7-story reinforced concrete building that's easily accessible."
Cloud365 Dallas Datacentre 1 is located at TierPoint in Dallas, Texas — centrally positioned to deliver fast and robust application and service delivery across the United States. TierPoint's Dallas campus is a purpose-built facility for service providers, where all major US carriers meet in carrier meet-me rooms enabling multiple nationwide connectivity paths.
Dallas DC1 delivers video and audio broadcast, streaming, application and website hosting, telephony and platform monitoring services for Cloud365 US-based customers. The facility is registered under ITAR and EU-US Privacy Shield and meets GLBA and HIPAA standards, making it suitable for regulated US industry workloads.
